Tall Trees Barrie Real Estate

Tall Trees is a small neighborhood in Barrie, Ontario. It is just a few minutes off the Highway 400 bordered by Bayfield St. (on the West), Livingston Ave. (on the North), St. Vincent Street (on the East) and Cundles Road (on the South). It gets its name from the Tall Coniferous Trees in the middle of the neighbourhood which is surrounded by a large semi-circular road named Springdale Drive.

There's a unique park there where people can walk their dogs or relax on a park bench. People choose Tall Trees as a neighborhood to purchase their Barrie home in because of its proximity to two big shopping malls: the Kozlov Center which is just across Bayfield Street and the Georgian Mall just across Livingston Avenue. Both malls are within walking distance of most of the homes in Tall Trees.

What's really unique about this neighborhood is the fact that about one quarter to one third of the older homes in the neighborhood that were built in the late 70s have Mansard Roofs which some people really like. The main advantage of that "helmet-style" roof is that offers more head room on the second story compared to other two-storey Cape Cod-style houses that have dormers. Tall Trees is very typical Barrie neighbourhood with a mix of new, old and nicely renovated middle-class homes. Check it out, if you are thinking you might like to try living car-less as a lifestyle, or you simply want to reduce your carbon footprint.
