Bracebridge Real Estate

Bracebridge is the middle town in Muskoka driving north on highway 11 from Toronto. The Muskoka River and famous bridge over the falls are historic landmarks within the town. Bracebridge has a lovely historic downtown with boutique shops and on the outskirts has the larger box stores to serve your needs for the home or cottage. Lake Muskoka is at the end of the Muskoka River and is one of the most popular lakes in the region. Beautiful island properties, picturesque and historic boathouses and classic wooden boats are still very much part of the landscape.

Bracebridge has many fine home communities as well as many lovely old historic homes in it’s centre. There is a gorgeous new community centre, theatre and high school on the edge of town along with several lovely housing areas to choose from. Cultural events are a tradition in Bracebridge, Festival of Lights, Arts Festival and Art in the Park on the Muskoka River in town have been long time summer traditions.  Great shopping, world class golf courses and restaurants are enjoyed throughout the community. Grand old resorts and steamship rides on the Segwin and Winona II are some of the great opportunities of this area. Hiking, snowmobiilng, boating, waterskiing, sailing, antique boats and boatworks, grand old summer cottages or grand new summer residences abound so there is something for everyone. Lovely condominiums are also popular with the retirees offering great locations on the riverfront right in the town.

The landscape is rolling and picturesque outside of town with the roads taking you around Lake Muskoka.  There are farms offering fresh produce and horseback riding in summertime.
